Due to congestion at the massive CSX yard in Selkirk, New York, CSX detoured several trains beginning Friday, July 18, via New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway; of which CSX is a part owner.
In a rare daylight view on the former ERIE mainline, westbound NYSW train 710 is seen at Hancock, New York at Milepost 162.82 crossing the East Branch of the Delaware River on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 16:50hrs. Not only is a daylight train rare, but on a Sunday to boot!
