On Monday morning, a train consisting of MBTA MP36 010 and two coaches (358 1512), picked up VIP's, including Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, at the state line at Sheffield to ride over the Housatonic Railroad to Pittsfield.

The purpose of the excursion was for the governor to announce his support of proposed passenger service between Connecticut and Massachusetts.

On Saturday, the train arrived Pittsfield at 1400 as P935-27. It then proceeded down the HRRC to Canaan where the train was wyed, and shoved back to the fuel pit where the engine was fueled, and then tied down. The engine used 200 gallons from Worcester to Canaan.

The train was on duty at 0730 at Canaan on Monday, and was moved to the state line at Sheffield for boarding.

On CSX back to Worcester, the train was P940-29.
