White River Junction, Vermont is a place that I have visited since I was a young child, a second home if you will.




When Holiday Inn sadly decided that they did not want the hotel anymore, it was sold to Ramada, and rapidly began to go from a 4 star hotel to a 1 star.




The hotel was knocked down and I was told the reason was that the roof had collapsed. Poor maintenance will cause that. It's just sad to see what was once a beautiful hotel filled with many memories, now just a grassy parking lot.




The only remnant to remind anyone that the Holiday Inn was there is the road: Holiday Drive.
