Strates at Oakland Coaling Tower

The James E. Strates Carnival Train heads west on the former ERIE under the Oakland Coaling Tower after just completing the Orange County Fair along the former New York, Ontario & Western Railway (NS) in Middletown.

The train traveled as NS "056" from Middletown to Sparrowbush, and then became NYSW train BH-2.

NS 6929 (SD60E), NS 6752 (SD60I) are pulling 39 flatcars with a New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway crew aboard while the train travels over the Central New York Railroad to Binghamton.
