Strates Shows has been visiting the Orange County, NY Fair since 2007. Normally the arrival and departure route is via Moodna Viaduct. For the first time, the train was routed west via Port Jervis which is a fast, direct route to Binghamton over The NYSW Railway (CNY).
The train was brought to Sparrowbush, NY by NS Local H-08 and recrewed by a friendly NYSW BHX crew.
The coaches seen here are former Battenkill Railroad.
