You'll "fall" in love with Montgomery

Middletown & New Jersey Railroad train CH-1 heads east on the Walden Branch through the village of Montgomery on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 1046hrs.

At one time, this was the division point between the Erie Montgomery Branch and The New York Central Wallkill Valley Railroad. It is 32.95 miles to the former terminus at Kingston, but today the active Wallkill Valley Railroad is just 3.7 miles to Walden.

The crew running the train is a rare combination on the railroad: A husband and wife team.
