THE LINEUP-Norfolk Southern operates three locals based out of Suffern, NY. H-08 serves five customers in Orange County, while H-55(day) and H-56 (night) serve two customers in Rockland County, as well as customers in northern New Jersey. Nocturnal H8K operates Croxton-Suffern-Campbell Hall, dropping and picking up cars for the Suffern crews. Suffern remains NS's only crew point on the Southern Tier east of Binghamton.
