Pan Am Southern Local PL-1 returns from Seymour enroute back to Waterbury while passing the locally famous Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe.

The Plainville based local freight at one time would pass this location weekly with tank cars of syrup for The Peter Paul syrup station in Beacon Falls. Now sadly, one can only witness a freight train pass this location roughly 2-4 times per YEAR serving the last customer south of Waterbury, which is Kerite in Seymour.
