NS Heritage on CSX»Illinois Terminal 1072

The Illinois Terminal was welcomed by railfans as the first Norfolk Southern heritage unit to grace CSX rails in The Capital District.

K010-02, with NS 1049 and BNSF 5075 are seen at Feura Bush, New York after tying down just beyond the signals with just 20 minutes to spare at 1440, a yard crew was summoned to bring the unit oil train into Selkirk Yard.

The fact that the unit came to The Capital District on a Sunday allowed many railfans to capture their unit, and even bring the families along for the chase!
