Rare Sunday Daylight Freight on The Hudson

The daily nocturnal CSX road freight from Selkirk to New York City was still pulling into Croton West Yard at 0800 Sunday morning, April 3, 2016.

A recrew with symbol B749-03 was ordered, and departed Croton at 1330hrs with a massive train seen here on Metro-North Railroad at Scarborough, New York at 1349hrs. between The Hudson River and Kemeys Cove passing the former station, which is now a Post Office.

Ongoing Post-Sandy construction continues on Track 4.
