B949-04 brings an EXTREMELY rare Saturday extra south through Ossining, NY after the only southbound of the night outlawed at Croton at 0630hrs. This left Oak Point Yard without any engines to run a northbound that night, so it became imperative that this extra be operated in daylight.

After waiting several hours at Croton, a few of us railfans were rewarded with braving the elements.
