Norfolk Southern Heritage Conrail unit 8098 made its first time appearance on the CSX River Sub at 10:17hrs. on Thursday, August 7, 2014.

CSX train Q008-06 is heading southbound with 15 cars of hot intermodal traffic through the United States Military Academy, which was established in 1802, and is the oldest continuously occupied military post in America.

The graduating class of 1947 purchased the station from Penn Central in 1972 and gave it to the corps.
In 1997, the class provided an upgrade, and presented an endowment for maintenance. The graduating class of 1947 is to thank for preserving the station.
