Mass Bay RRE Excursion on May 17, 2008 on The Housatonic Railroad (based at Canaan, CT) using Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum equipment. BSRM normally operates between Lenox, and Stockbridge, MA. This trip operated from Lenox, north to Pittsfield, back south to Lenox. At Lenox, the 8619 was placed in the lead, and then south to Canaan, CT. Stops at Lenox, MA, Sheffield, MA, and Canaan, CT. The weather cooperated until Canaan. Instead of chasing back north, I headed for home.
