CT2-X heads west through Newtown passing the old station at Church Hill Road (Route 6). This move is no longer possible as the east end of the line has been Out of Service for many years.
Providence & Worcester Train CT-2X to Danbury, CT
Providence and Worcester Railroad serves Tilcon's Danbury Stone Plant via trackage rights access over Metro-North Railroad and Housatonic Railroad.
The train symbol is CT-2, or CT-2X if it is an extra.
Two different routes are possible:
(1) Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line to Devon Wye, then onto The Waterbury Branch to Derby, then onto Housatonic into Danbury.
(2) Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line to South Norwalk, then onto The Danbury Branch to Danbury, then onto Housatonic to Tilcon.

on August 5, 2006 beginning at Derby at 1711 hrs, and ending in Danbury at 1920 hrs. Normally, most of the run from Cedar Hill is nocturnal.
Of note, another daylight move (not pictured) occured on Sat, Oct, 7, 2006.
