On Friday, September 2, 2011, The MNJ continued their response to Hurricane/Tropical Storm IRENE.
With the help of Railroad Construction of Paterson, NJ ,
and ballast hoppers loaned by The NYSW Railway, The MNJ
worked on spots along The Hudson Secondary, using Greycourt Yard on The Greycourt Industrial as an excellent home base for the project.
E.Tetz supplied the ballast, delivering it to Greycourt Yard.
