CSXT trains based out of The Former New Haven Railroad Oak Point Yard operate over Former New Haven Railroad trackage to outlying points such as to Fresh Pond Yard to interchange with The New York & Atlantic, Harlem River Yard to serve Waste Management, and The Hunts Point Produce Market.

Amtrak's Hell Gate Bridge is utilized to access Fresh Pond, in Queens. Hell Gate Bridge was built by The New York Connecting Railroad, and opened in 1917.

CSXT also operates on a very small portion of what was once the famed New York, Westchester & Boston to service customer S&S Soap located at 815 East 135th Street. NYWB operated from 1912-1937.

The 1.9 mile Oak Point Link, built by The NY State DOT, at a cost of $187 million was opened for service on October 12, 1998.
